Here’s what each model costs at the two most common patio sizes. Freestanding and wall-mounted cost the same, and so does every color.

The Pergola 4 is the manual model: you tilt the louvers by hand, and there’s nothing to wire. It suits a patio where you’ll set the roof once a day and leave it.

The 4 Pro uses the same frame and adds a motor, remote and app control, and built-in lights, for about $1,000 more at 10×10 and $1,400 at 10×13. That’s the one most people should buy, because opening and closing the roof as the weather changes is the reason to own a louvered pergola. It plugs into a standard outdoor outlet.

The 4 Pro Max costs about $3,150 more than the Pro at 10×13. Buy it if you want to enclose the sides in glass, because it’s the only model that takes PergoLux’s glass walls.

The Standard S3 is the previous generation, now on clearance, and it’s the cheapest way into a PergoLux at about $840 less than the Pergola 4 at 10×10. It’s manual, and stock won’t last. The motorized Skydance S3 costs more than the newer 4 Pro, so skip it.

Delivery is free, and in-stock kits usually arrive within a couple of weeks. Count every box on arrival and report damage within seven days.

PergoLux’s 100-day trial only applies once the pergola is fully installed, and returning it costs $1,000 in freight plus a $500 restocking fee.
