How much does a PergoLux pergola cost?

A PergoLux kit costs about $4,200 to $7,500 at 10×10 and about $5,600 to $10,100 at 10×13, depending on the model, and delivery is free. Build it yourself on a patio you already have and that’s close to the whole bill. Paid installation is the big extra, so a fitted motorized 4 Pro at 10×13 usually lands between about $8,200 and $11,800.

Who builds it can cost you more than adding the motor.

Brand list prices, before tax, delivery and installation. Brands often run promotions, so check the live price before you order.

PergoLux shows every price as a discount off a much higher list price, under a clearance sale that keeps being extended. Treat the sale price as the real one rather than rushing to beat the countdown.

The motor adds about $1,400 at 10×13, which buys remote and app control and built-in lights. The Pro Max costs about $3,150 more again and is the only model that takes PergoLux’s glass walls. Every size and the full spec are on our PergoLux page.

What installation costs

This is where totals split apart. PergoLux says two people can build one in a day, and owners who do it themselves usually take a long day or a weekend. If you’re comfortable with a drill and a level, building it yourself costs nothing but the anchor bolts, which aren’t in the box.

PergoLux’s own installer, Elite Tech Installs, works in every state but only quotes after you order. Owners report first quotes of about $4,500 to $5,000, and some negotiated them down. An independent service, HandyBuddy, lists PergoLux assembly from $996 for the Pergola 4 to $1,296 for the Pro Max, depending on where you live.

Neither installer pours concrete, runs new wiring or prepares the site. Prices read 13 October 2026.

So get both quotes before you book. On a motorized 10×13, the gap between the two installers is larger than the price of adding the motor.

What else to budget for

On a sound concrete patio a PergoLux only needs bolting down. With no slab, Angi puts a new one at about $600 per 100 square feet, so roughly $800 under a 10×13. Elite Tech Installs will instead set concrete footers for $1,800 to $2,100.

The motorized models plug into a standard outdoor outlet, so there’s no hardwiring. If you don’t have an outlet near a post, Angi puts a new one at $150 to $260, and it can need a small electrical permit.

A freestanding pergola under 200 square feet often needs no building permit, which covers a 10×13. A 13×16 is over that line, and so is anything attached to the house, so ask your building department before you order. Our pergola cost guide explains the rules.

Walls are where a budget runs away. One zip screen on a 13-foot side costs more than a new slab under it, and enclosing two sides in glass can add more than the motor did. Decide which sides actually need cover before you order.

Three real totals

1. A manual 10×13 you build yourself

A Pergola 4 at 10×13 on a patio you already have, built over a weekend with a friend. Add anchor bolts, and at 130 square feet freestanding it usually needs no permit. Total: about $5,600.

2. A motorized 10×13 with paid assembly

A 4 Pro at 10×13 on an existing patio, assembled by HandyBuddy for about $1,100, plus a new outdoor outlet at $150 to $260 and $50 to $100 for the electrical permit. Total: about $8,300 to $8,500.

3. A 13×16 Pro Max, fully fitted

A Pro Max at 13×16 installed by Elite Tech Installs at about $4,500, on new concrete footers at $1,800 to $2,100. Add a glass wall and a zip screen on the 13-foot sides, both fitted, an outlet, and a building permit of $50 to $500. Total: about $28,000 to $29,000.

That’s still well below a dealer-installed system. Our StruXure cost guide shows a 13×16 StruXure estimated at over $31,000 before any walls.

Questions

How much does it cost to install a PergoLux?

Between nothing and about $5,000. You can build it yourself with a helper, HandyBuddy lists assembly from $996 to $1,296 by model, and owners report first quotes of about $4,500 to $5,000 from PergoLux’s installer, Elite Tech Installs.

Is the PergoLux sale price real?

Yes, in the sense that it’s the price everyone pays. The higher list price it’s discounted from rarely applies, and the clearance sale keeps being extended, so there’s no need to rush.

Is PergoLux cheaper than StruXure?

Much cheaper. A fitted motorized PergoLux at 10×13 usually costs $8,000 to $12,000, while a dealer-installed StruXure of that size is estimated at about $19,500 to $26,000. Our PergoLux vs StruXure comparison covers what the extra money buys.

Can you finance a PergoLux?

Yes. PergoLux offers monthly payments through Affirm and advertises 0% financing, with the terms set when you apply at checkout.

Does Costco sell PergoLux?

No. PergoLux sells from its own website and showrooms. The louvered pergola Costco carries is a different brand, covered in our best louvered pergolas.
