How The Pergola Kit reports its news and guides, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Who publishes this site
The Pergola Kit is an independent pergola kit catalog and buying resource. We are not a storefront: we do not sell pergolas, hold stock or take payment. More about us is on the about page.
How we report the news
Our stories are built from public sources: manufacturer pages, assembly manuals, official notices, retailer listings and our own price tracking. Each story lists its sources and the date we checked them.
- Claims made by a manufacturer are attributed to the manufacturer.
- We do not test products hands-on, visit sites or interview people, unless an article says we did.
Independence and affiliate links
Some links to merchants are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission on a qualifying purchase. Affiliate relationships never decide what we cover or what we say about a product. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.
Corrections and updates
When we find a material error, we correct it and add a dated “Correction” note that says what was wrong and what is right. When a story changes because new facts arrive, we add a dated “Update” note.
