Pergola news this week: Hansø brings back its sale, Horizon 10×10 now $4,867

Pergolux hasn't posted its November prices, Erommy's aluminum 10×10 undercuts Costco's Mirador deal, and two more sales end early next week.

Hansø's Horizon 10×10 louvered pergola is $374 cheaper in its new 35% sale than in the 30% sale that ended this week, by The Pergola Kit's price tracking. If you missed the first sale, you haven't lost out: Hansø (Hanso Home) brought it back deeper within days.

Hansø's pergola sale is back, with two free heaters

Hansø's Horizon, a motorized louvered aluminum pergola, is $4,867 in the 10×10 size in the new Spooktacular Sale.

Pergolux's comparable Pro 10×10 is $7,990 at its regular price. That is $2,728 more than the Horizon, even after Hansø's $395-per-order shipping. Our Pergolux vs. Hansø comparison shows how the two brands line up.

The sale includes two free Hansø heaters, which Hansø values at $900, and ends at 3 a.m. Eastern on Oct. 31, which is midnight Friday night on the West Coast. The catches: Hansø says kits ship in 12 to 14 weeks, and its Apex model is left out.

On a tighter budget, the hand-cranked Pro+ 10×10 is $3,978 in the same sale. If you won't build until spring, Hansø's Early Bird is cheaper still, with early-April delivery, but its countdown ends early Tuesday.

Pergolux still has no sale, and its next date is in November

Pergolux's site shows regular prices and a banner promising early access to its "best prices of the year" from Nov. 13, plus a free heater with a pergola order. It hasn't posted those prices or said which pergolas get the heater.

Waiting for Pergolux is a bet on a price it hasn't published, and Hansø's sale will be over by then. The Pergola 4 Pro page shows what it costs now.

Costco's Mirador 10×10 is $300 off, but Erommy's costs less

Costco's Mirador 10×10 adjustable louvered aluminum pergola is $1,499.99 through the end of October, while supplies last. It suits you if you want to buy through Costco: the box comes to your driveway, and carrying it to the backyard and assembling it are up to you.

If you want a louvered roof for less, Erommy's 10×10 is $999.99 with free shipping, and Erommy says it is built of aluminum. Our Erommy page shows its sizes and finishes.

Skip Costco's Paragon Lugano for now: its page still says "Item unavailable for delivery" for ZIP codes in New York, Texas, Florida, Illinois and Iowa.

Two more pergola sales end early next week

Backyard Discovery's Windham 14×12 steel pergola is $1,199, down from $2,599, until 11:59 p.m. Central on Oct. 26. Paragon's Suprema 10×12 louvered pergola in Light Gray is $3,359.99 through Oct. 27. Slate Gray is excluded and costs $840 more.

If either is on your list, order before its deadline, and check that your Suprema cart says Light Gray. Our Windham and Suprema pages have the details.
