Erommy pergola review

Erommy is a real company, not a scam: it ships fast, sells through Wayfair and other big retailers, and its louvered pergolas are among the cheapest you can buy. The trade-off is support. The warranty lasts one year, you can’t return one after building it, and the usual complaint is a missing or damaged part that’s slow to replace. Buy it for the price, and check every box the day it arrives.

Where you buy an Erommy can matter as much as which one you buy.

Is Erommy legit?

Yes. Erommy is a California online retailer that has sold outdoor structures since 2020, and its pergolas are also listed on Wayfair, Target and Bed Bath & Beyond. Orders arrive, usually within about a week, and website checkers such as ScamAdviser rate the site as probably legitimate.

Its reputation is mixed, though, and it depends on where you look. On Trustpilot Erommy averages 3.2 stars from about 610 reviews, split between 41% five-star and 36% one-star. Its Wayfair listings average about 4.5 stars. The Better Business Bureau rates it F and it isn’t accredited, with 21 complaints in three years.

Read together, that’s a real seller with cheap products and patchy after-sales service, not a fake shop. Erommy does reply to almost every negative review, which counts for something.

How much does an Erommy pergola cost?

Erommy’s main line is aluminum pergolas with louvers you turn by hand, plus motorized versions and models with pull-down screens. Here’s what the main ones cost at common sizes. Every model is on our Erommy page.

Brand list prices, before tax, delivery and installation. Brands often run promotions, so check the live price before you order.

A manual louvered Erommy at 10×10 costs under a third of a PergoLux of the same size, which is the whole appeal. Erommy shows its prices as big discounts off a “was” price, but the sale price is what everyone pays, and shipping is free.

What owners like

The happy reviews are mostly about speed and value: the pergola turned up within days, looked like the photos and cost a fraction of the bigger brands. Several owners say it went together more easily than they expected, and the louvered aluminum models get the warmest reviews of anything Erommy sells.

What owners complain about

Most bad reviews start on delivery day, with a missing or damaged part, and then describe slow replies by email while it’s sorted out. Instructions are another common gripe. A few owners found that a specific spare part wasn’t sold on its own.

Warranty and returns

Erommy’s warranty covers manufacturing defects for one year from shipment, and weather damage isn’t covered. You can buy a longer warranty on the product page, but only within 30 days of ordering. That’s short next to PergoLux and Hansø, which both cover the frame for 10 years.

Returns are tighter still. You have 60 days, but the pergola must be unassembled and unused, and if nothing is wrong with it Erommy refunds 80% of what you paid. If it arrived faulty, you get a replacement or a full refund once Erommy confirms the problem.

Where to buy one

You can buy direct from erommy.com or through a big retailer such as Wayfair or Target. Prices are often similar, so compare the return terms before you choose. Each retailer sets its own return window and handles the first round of customer service, which can be easier than chasing Erommy by email.

Whichever you choose, pay by credit card or PayPal, so you have a fallback if a missing part never turns up.

Who should buy an Erommy?

Buy one if price matters most and you’re handy enough to sort out a missing part yourself. The manual louvered pergola is the one to start with, because it’s the model owners rate best.

Spend more if you want a pergola to last a decade with a warranty to match, or you’d rather not deal with a seller by email. PergoLux is the step up, and our best louvered pergolas compare the other options.

Questions

Is Erommy a real company?

Yes. Erommy is a California online retailer selling pergolas, gazebos and canopies since 2020, and its products are also sold through Wayfair, Target and Bed Bath & Beyond. Orders arrive; the complaints are about support, not fake orders.

Why does Erommy have bad reviews?

Mostly delivery problems. The common story on Trustpilot is a missing or damaged part followed by slow email support. Reviews of the louvered pergolas themselves are much kinder.

How long does Erommy take to deliver?

Usually about a week. Erommy says orders leave in one to two business days and arrive two to seven days later, and large pieces come by truck in separate boxes.

Can you return an Erommy pergola after building it?

No. Erommy only takes back pergolas that are unassembled and unused, within 60 days, and refunds 80% unless the item was faulty. Check everything before you build.

Are Erommy gazebos good?

They have the same strengths and weaknesses as the pergolas: low prices and fast delivery, with mixed reviews on missing parts and support. Owners rate the louvered aluminum pergolas more highly than the canopy and hardtop gazebos.
