Which address to link to

  • To link to the index, use /pergola-price-index/. That address does not change and always shows the latest edition.
  • This page stays at /pergola-price-index/data/ and lists every edition’s files. Use it when you need the data itself.
  • Each edition has its own dated address, such as /pergola-price-index/2026-q4/, and its files sit under it. An edition is frozen once published, so those addresses and files do not change. Cite a figure from the edition it came from.
  • The index is quarterly. A new edition adds a row to the table above; nothing is overwritten.

What is in the file

One long-format table. The first line is the header row. Values are US dollars per square foot of covered area, except the “typical price at size” rows, which are US dollars. These are advertised kit prices on the day of capture, before tax, shipping and installation. They are not transaction prices.
